Welcome to Sosalla Solew
Est. 2002
Sosalla Solew, set among the red clay hills of northern Florida, features pine forests, a sprawling lake, and miles of winding creek basin. Hidden throughout the natural landscape are many native species and hundreds of acres of carefully managed habitat. Scenic overlooks, open fields, and quiet backroads stretch across nearly the entire expanse of the property.

Our History
For generations, this remarkable land in the Plantation Belt has been recognized by many as part of the “quail capital of the world.” Once home to fields of cotton, peanuts, tobacco, pecans, and grain, it has since become a refuge for countless species of wildlife. When the leaves begin to fall and the summer heat gives way to cool northern winds, this is where you’ll find us. Since 2002, family and guests have gathered here while preserving the traditions that have shaped the property for years. Today, our focus centers on the development and stewardship of extensive quail habitat and Florida lowlands. At its core, Sosalla Solew remains a place dedicated to family, tradition, conservation, and the enduring spirit of the land.
Hunting
There is nothing quite like an authentic hunt in Florida’s Red Hills. Guests are immersed in a landscape defined by native pine forests, iconic Florida wetlands, and the striking topography unique to the state’s northern panhandle.

Fishing
Take advantage of all North Florida has to offer by spending a day on the water catching largemouth bass, bream, and catfish. Or after a long day in the field, unwind on the dock with a line in the water as the sun sets across the lake. Around here, we simply call it “Fins & Feathers.”
